SweetSpicy Pork Ribs

Sometimes you don’t have the ability to light up the smoker and slow smoke your pork ribs. This recipe for oven baked pork ribs is simple convenient and delicious. The key creating the nice char and bite that you expect from a smoker is created in the last 10 minutes in the broiler. Cook these ribs low and slow in the oven then crank up your broiler and put the ribs just below the top rack for the final minutes.

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F. While heating, brush the olive oil on both sides of the ribs on a foil lined baking sheet. Then coat both sides with SweetSpicy blend.
  2. Place in middle rack for approx 2 hours. After the 2nd hour crank up the oven to broil and place the sheet approx 6 inches below the broiler for 10 minutes (flipping the ribs midway).
  3. Slice and serve
